Quality Scotland held their annual Scottish Awards for Business Excellence at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow. The awards celebrate organisations from all sectors and sizes across Scotland who have achieved global levels of recognition against the EFQM Excellence Model and over 40 awards were given out on the day.
The event was expertly hosted by David Tanner the sports broadcaster who managed the whole day with verve and vigour. At one point he recorded a message of support to the Scottish Women’s Football Team with the audience lending their support in the background. The event ended up trending on Twitter in the Glasgow area as guests took pictures and uploaded them to #SABE2019.
The main award of the day was presented to Scottish Autism and was a resounding popular choice with the attendees.
The Chair of Quality Scotland, Andy Kerr brought the proceedings to a close with several votes of thanks for all the hard work that is put in to make the award ceremony a resounding success. His final task was to set the date for next years awards which will take place in Edinburgh at the EICC on June 11th 2020.
