Emirates New Route Launch

About the project

In October 2018 VisionEvents were brought in to produce Emirates launch events for their new Edinburgh to Dubai route. This highly prestigious launch was aimed at exclusive clients and companies within Edinburgh who would utilise the route.

The main event took place at the Waldorf Astoria where our team set up a large production. An exclusive red carpet and flambeaux arrival set up welcomed guests. Bespoke branding through lighting effects, large printed backdrops and vinyl was positioned around the venue. A bespoke built draped walkway was positioned between the reception and foyer areas to hide the main event room - ensuring the wow factor on opening! The main room had a super large 6m x 3.5m LED wall with an extensive stage in front to accommodate the various acts, including Katy Tunstall and the Red Hot Chilli Pipers. This was the first time an event of this scale was held at this venue and with only a three week lead up, planning and organisation was of the upmost importance.

As well as the main event we were involved in the press launch for the opening day of the route. This involved a conference set up with branding at Edinburgh Airport. This was logistically challenging with each piece of equipment needing to be scanned before entry to the Airport site.

Our teams once again excelled and provided our client with a high end, seamless launch for their highly prestigious event.
