You will be assigned one of our dedicated Project Managers who will see your event through from concept to reality. They are supported by our expert logistics and event management teams who keep the wheels turning, and along with our Creative team, ensure that everything is prepared.

All our project managers are responsible for client, venue and supplier liaison as well as Health & Safety and Risk Assessments for each event. Their role involves meeting and understanding clients’ requirements, creating quotations to meet their needs, coordinating and supervising a team of technicians, planning and producing events, sometimes to extremely tight timescales, and show calling.

Andy joined visionevents in October 2002 having completed an HND in Audio Engineering at Perth College. Since joining Andy has worked his way up the company to his current position as Project Manager. He has an excellent technical background and is our resident sound expert, which often makes him the go-to man for questions. During his time with us he has adapted his varied skills to work within all aspects of event AV production at visionevents and his dedicated, client friendly attitude positions him as one of our key team members. Andy has a vast understanding of event production requirements and is committed to ensuring that client’s objectives are met, making him an excellent project manager for any event.
With a previous technical background, Keith has been in the event production industry since 1993, his first post being with visionevents as a technician. Keith’s natural capability as an experienced operator along with his excellent client skills has aided his transition to become one of our Project Directors.
Well respected within our company, he has maintained regular event contracts with key clients, each time taking their events to the next level. Keith’s continuous ‘can do’ attitude and getting it right on the night always enables his great affinity with our clients.
Iain joined VisionEvents in May 2006 as one of our Project Managers. He started his career in the events industry back in 2000 after two years travelling. Prior to travelling Iain was manager of a hotel. Here Iain developed excellent communication and people skills, a vast I.T. knowledge and managed a team of over 25. Since becoming a Project Manager with visionevents he has been developing creative concepts and producing a multitude of live events. Iain has an excellent eye for detail and enjoys the challenge of a busy and demanding environment. His excellent technical knowledge combined with his high level of customer service has allowed Iain to develop very strong relationships with our clients and led him to be promoted to be one of our key Project Directors.
Steve started working in the events industry in 1996 as a junior technician. His experience started with live events and video production where he worked on numerous high-profile video and bespoke projects. With a high attention to detail and a meticulous approach to project management he ensures a smoothly-run project from start to finish. Steve has developed a strong client base at visionevents and is the key account manager to a number of our important blue chip clients. His strength lies in his fantastic eye for detail in overseeing the successful delivery of projects whilst ensuring that each client’s goals and objectives are met.
Malky has been in the events industry since the mid 90s. Since joining visionevents in the early 2000s as a technician, Malky has worked his way up the ranks and now heads up our Glasgow branch. Malky’s projects range from producing the first event in the new SSE Hydro, to PR stunts for Doctor Who’s 50th Birthday celebrations, as well as the Main Stage at T in the Park, award ceremonies and conferences. He is the glue which holds these projects together. Malky has the knowledge and inspiration to manage technically demanding briefs with an innovative approach utilising top end new technology.
