Coming Home…To Our Event Production HQ in Edinburgh

This installment of visionews is coming home…to our Edinburgh HQ that is! It’s over 30 years since we first opened our doors in Edinburgh and it’s been quite a journey.

Being based in the Capital is perfect for us as Edinburgh is a fantastic, vibrant city which hosts a plethora of large scale events each year. Coupled with this are some fantastic venues which really make the city stand out as a destination for meetings, events and conferences.

warehouse_01Each of our offices around the UK has its own local production team. This is a great benefit to us as this network of local knowledge strengthens our position as a national event production company. This is no different in our Edinburgh event production HQ where five of our project managers are based. They bring superb local knowledge, but are regularly used as a national resource, with many producing more events in other parts of the UK than they do in Edinburgh!

Chris Montgomery said:
“Our Edinburgh office is our main hub. It’s where the majority of our equipment and staff are based. It’s also where our logistics, graphics and video production departments are based, so it really is the heartbeat of our event production. Each of our offices around the UK is stand-alone and has the capability to handle the busy schedule of events which they secure year to year.

Our HQ is here to manage its own busy event schedule, but also support each of our other offices who regularly come up to Edinburgh for any training, meetings or for any specific equipment. This structure is ideal as we can give our clients local knowledge and customer service with the resources and network of a national event production company.”

Also based in Edinburgh is a large team who work behind the scenes of our event production, including our HR, Finance, Business Development, Daily Hires and Marketing teams. Operations Director, Ali Robertson said:

“We moved to our current location in Edinburgh about 8 years ago and it’s been mirrored with strong and steady development in the company. We were able to expand our warehouse facilities, giving us more space to store our equipment and also develop our workshop and storage for our sets. As we have expanded, so has our workforce. One thing which I think really singles up apart from other national event providers is how our staff from all of our UK offices come together to work on events regardless of their location.”
